I often get the question “How do you scrap so fast??”… I have been known to literally bust out 20 pages in one evening (eh hem, my hof entry) but the process is seriously SO simple. Here’s my secret:
I just GO. Often when I sit down to scrapbook I have a few ideas/stories/pictures on deck. So I just start gluing shizz down. If I know the design, SWEET. If I can write the journaling up right quick, AWESOME. But I don’t let the details get me tripped up. Just get it out, get it down, and move on. Then I start accumulating them on my floor (much to Chloe’s dismay). Sometimes they will sit there for a while while life takes over. And then I go back to them with FRESH eyes. Look at em upside down. What did I want to say there? Look at em from the sofa. What products am I dying to use? Look at them from the lens. What can I do to make this page complete? Can I throw a stamp under those stickers? Generally as long as I get a running start, all the details simply fall into place.
It may seem unconventional, but it seriously helps me get the jumble of creativity in my brain into some sort of concrete idea. I feel like if I don’t put SOMETHING down, I will explode. So I just start somewhere. The computer text, extra ribbons and handwritten journaling can come after the storm of inspiration subsides.
So that’s how I make stuff. Kinda crazy, huh?

This is so inspiring to me! I keep going back to this post and every time I see it I want to go scrapping immediately! Often I start several pages at once and then finish them over the course of several days.
